Leprosy Statistics - Ampara District

Ampara RDHS is a medium risk region of leprosy consists of 7 Divisional Secretariat Divisions. Child leprosy transmission needs to be interrupted in Dehiattakandiya and Uhana DSD areas. Lahugala DSD has achieved the leprosy eliminated status while the other 4 DSDs needs to interrupt the transmission of leprosy among adults.
